Hampshire Archery Association is the home of archery in Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands in the UK. The Association is affiliated to SCAS (Southern Counties Archery Society) and Archery GB (GNAS) who are the governing body for the sport in the UK.
Archery is a sport for all ages and abilities and is great for families. There are over 50 archery clubs in Hampshire and most offer beginners courses. If you interested in trying archery get in touch with one of the clubs listed here.
Julian Piper of Andover Archers won 4 of the 5 trophies available at this years Grand National Archery Meeting at Lilleshall for the Double York. He didn't want to win the worst white of the meeting! The only one that he didn't get was the best gold

It is with sadness that I report the loss of one of Hampshire's long and well respected archers. Gerry Freemantle, aged 94 years, died on 26th April last. Gerry was an early member of Merdon Archery. The funeral will be held at Hedge End Crematorium on 12th May at 3.15 p.m.
