Hampshire Archery Association is the home of archery in Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands in the UK. The Association is affiliated to SCAS (Southern Counties Archery Society) and Archery GB (GNAS) who are the governing body for the sport in the UK.
Archery is a sport for all ages and abilities and is great for families. There are over 50 archery clubs in Hampshire and most offer beginners courses. If you interested in trying archery get in touch with one of the clubs listed here.
It is with sadness that I report the loss of one of Hampshire's long and well respected archers. Gerry Freemantle, aged 94 years, died on 26th April last. Gerry was an early member of Merdon Archery. The funeral will be held at Hedge End Crematorium on 12th May at 3.15 p.m.

Raphael TUCKER (Raph) 26.06.26 - 17.03.15 Died peacefully on 17th March in Winchester ICU, aged 88 years. Married to Lorna for 67 years. Much known and loved by so many people, especially in the archery world as founder members of Andover Archers . A wonderful father to Jacky and David, grandfather to Jo and Kevin and their partners Julian and Claire. The family would love anyone who wants to come and celebrate his life with joy.
