Winchester Archery Club is operated as a not-for-profit community archery club run by enthusiastic local volunteers in Winchester, Hampshire (UK).
We have archers of all ages and abilities, shooting recurve, longbow, flatbow and compound. All are welcome!
The club is affiliated with Archery GB, Southern Counties Archery Society and the Hampshire Archery Association
Where & When
Winchester Archery Cub meets throughout the year using two venues; Westgate School in Winchester and the Army Training Regiment, Sir John Moore Barracks. During the winter season (approx September to April) you will find us shooting indoors at the ATR and then during the Summer we switch to outdoors at Westgate. Shooting takes place weekly on a Friday evening from around 6:30pm until 9pm in the winter and 0n the weekends during the summer season.
Hampshire Archery Association is the home of archery in Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands in the UK. The Association is affiliated to SCAS (Southern Counties Archery Society) and Archery GB (GNAS) who are the governing body for the sport in the UK.
Archery is a sport for all ages and abilities and is great for families. There are over 30 archery clubs in Hampshire and most offer beginners courses. If you interested in trying archery get in touch with one of the clubs listed here.
