Hampshire Indoor Championships

The Hampshire Indoor Championships being held over the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of February.

The Saturday will be 3 sessions of a WRS WA18 and Sunday 3 sessions of UKRS Portsmouth, only 1 of which need be shot for the championship.

This year we are introducing a "Traditional" category, this will American flat bows and Asiatic style bows. 

On Saturday, compound and recurve archers U18 and above will be shooting on individual 3 spot faces, whilst everyone else will shoot a full 40cm face unless otherwise requested.

On Sunday all compound archers & Juniors U21, U18 & U16, will shoot on an individual vertical 3-spot 60cm face All Recurve, Longbow, "Traditional" & Barebow & junior compound archers U15, U14 & U12, will shoot on a 60cm full face, unless requested otherwise.

There will be an award presentation on both days, with separate awards for Hampshire archers and visitors on the Sunday. There will be awards for both the single and double rounds on both days. For those Hampshire archers that have shot a double the first score of the day will be the one that counts!


All bosses are Tenzone layered foam.

Timing: Ends of 3 at 2 minutes.

Registration: To begin at 8am on both days with equipment inspection beginning at 8:15am.

Please have valid membership cards available at registration, digital or physical.

Assembly: 15 minutes before each session starts, each session will begin with 2 ends of sighters.

Session 1 will start at 9

Session 2 at 11:30am

Session 3 at 2:30

Archery GB rule 307 will apply.

Target lists and results will be available on ianseo.net.

Refreshments are available at the on site Costa Coffee, no food is to be consumed in the Sports Hall.

Hampshire Archery Association is the home of archery in Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands in the UK. The Association is affiliated to SCAS (Southern Counties Archery Society) and Archery GB (GNAS) who are the governing body for the sport in the UK.
