Following a gruelling 7 month journey consisiting of lectures, coaching an archer to improvement, documenting the process and working with senior coaches and mentors, Hampshire now has 11 new Development Coaches to add to it's ranks.

These intrepid die-hards underwent a harrowing (almost) assessment process on 29th January 2023 and handed in their Level 1 Coach badge to be awarded with the new Development Coach badge - a truly remarklable achievement.

One of Hampshire Archery Association's core objectives is to promote archery coaching in Hampshire and with the help of the County Coaching Team and CCO, senior coaches and County Coaches, who all game their time to work with the candidates, successfully ran the first face to face course of this type in Hampshire.

If you are interested in becoming a coach, keep an eye on the County Coaching website for more information.
